More than 135 business professionals gathered at a Hauppauge meeting space on a recent Friday afternoon for the launch of Nooks & Socials, an invitation-only community focused on building businesses and relationships.

Three weeks later, the organization had 115 members, and founder and CEO Adam Holtzer said membership is expected to reach 150 in the spring and 200 by the end of the year.

“This community should feel comfortable, welcoming, and judgment-free, a place where our members can show up as themselves and still move their businesses forward,” Holtzer said in a news release about the launch of the organization…
