Five Star Service on a New Car Lease
July 16, 2026Yes, that’s right – half the year is gone. If you are like most high performing folks, you set goals for yourself. Some are linear, aka, 10 new clients a month, $4,000 sales a week, 1 speaking engagement a month. Some are seasonal – landscaping 10 months a year, snow plowing as needed. Some are, well, not there…
Goals are good because they drive our activites and how we spend our time. It’s July and it is time to reflect on the first half of the year and gauge if you will meet/exceed this year’s goals. And, whether you be meeting your you 3/5 year and retirement goals.
What’s working? What’s not? How many business groups do you belong to and do you keep track which one’s produce value (including much needed personal social value)? is it time to freshen up your marketing collateral? Are you really posting on Linked-in 3 to 4 times a week? Are you responding to client’s needs timely?
How did you get your last client? I struggle with this personally because most seeds I plant do not bloom for years. I receved a referral last week (and got the client!) from someone who I met over 5 years ago – and have not spoken with in at least a year! How do I learn from that to repeat and rinse for success?
This week, please take the time to grab the libation of choice and reflect on the past year(s) and think about what is working, what is not working. Edit the playbook and get to it.
